Protect your yard, fruit trees, vegetables, flowers and water features from hungry or destructive animal intruders. The ScareCrow motion-activated sprinkler automatically detects deer, raccoons, heron, dogs and more as they approach, and repels them with a short but startling burst of water. The sudden noise, movement and spray scares animals away, teaching them to avoid the area in future.
Using the ScareCrow is easy. Simply attach a standard garden hose to its base, set the ScareCrow in the ground in the area you want to protect, and then turn on the water. Once you switch the unit on, it is ready to go.
How does it work
The ScareCrow uses a combination of sudden noise, unexpected movement, and a startling blast of water to create a memorable and unpleasant experience for the trespasser.
The animal immediately associates this unpleasant experience with the location, and to avoid similar surprises, learns to avoid the area. If an animal chooses to return, the ScareCrow will be waiting.
While a human may flee several steps after activating a ScareCrow, animals are typically affected to a much greater degree. In most cases they run much farther, and stay away longer. Because the unit only triggers when the animal moves, its behaviour is difficult for animals to anticipate, making it a very effective deterrent.
Reminder for ScareCrow use in winter:
To prevent damage from freezing water, take the ScareCrow inside and remove the battery before the first winter frost. Failure to do so may cause some parts to break as ice expands inside.
The Scarecrow has literally saved our farm. The neighbourhood ravens have devastated our crops for years: they snip the tops off of garlic and uproot transplants and leave them to dry out and die. They scratch away the mulch around plants that we've spent days laying down. We rely on our farm crops to make a living, and the ravens were costing us thousands of dollars in lost sales and time. Ravens are intelligent creatures and we were at a loss as to how to keep them off our property. Traditional scarecrows don't work; netting is expensive and time-consuming. The only way we can effectively protect our farm when we're not out in the fields ourselves is with our Scarecrows. Thanks to our Scarecrows, we're once again able to enjoy a lazy Sunday breakfast or go out to a movie and relax, knowing that our crops are safe at home.

It really works! I never thought I would see my daylillies again, or my hostas, and plant and be able to harvest from my vegetable garden - but the Scarecrow really does what it says! The deer have already started to wreck their usual havoc on neighbors' properties, but not ours! And that thanks goes to you folks for making available a product that really does keep the deer away. Thank you so much!!!!!

"Since purchasing the ScareCrow, I can tell you that not one deer has come backAfter one night using the ScareCrow, that was it! My Cistus has bloomed for the first time in two years. Great product!"

"Your product has been the best item I've purchased in years. Until the arrival of your ScareCrow we tried every solution to manage the problem - nothing worked. Your product literally worked overnight and got rid of the raccoons 100%!"
Greg Hinkley, WI
"I am using mine to keep pigeons off the ground and from around the feeder. It is doing great and keeps them away 100%. As soon as they see it on the lawn they keep away. Thanks a lot."

"I love this thing, and with all the motion sensor lights around, I'm amazed they didn't think of it sooner. A motion-sensing sprinkler! Now isnt that just the thing to keep unwanted pests out of your garden; pest of any species. (Except, perhaps, for ducks.)"

"Braide and Farlinger are also enthusiastic gardeners. Every summer they hang flower baskets along the ocean side of the house, and the front garden has flowering shrubs and plants that complement their natural surroundings. Braide has solved a deer problem by using a device to ward them off. "I have five sprinklers set up around the house, permanently connected to hoses that have motion detectors on them. When the deer walk across the path, they are sprinkled for about five seconds, and then the sprinkler turns off. This deters the deer and the flowers aren't touched.""

"Deer will gladly go over an 8-foot fence to get at roses, but they won't stand for getting wet. That's the concept behind Scarecrow, an animal-invasion deterrent commonly known as "deer sprinklers." The device consists of a rotating sprinkler head on top of an infrared motion sensor. When on guard, it will spray any animal - dog, raccoon, rabbit, cat, cat burglar, daughter's boyfriend - that gets within 35 feet Cost and assembly are minimal compared with digging postholes and running fence."
